LiveNotes is free and stays free. Pro adds customisation and removes the limits that exist to keep abuse manageable. It is what pays for the servers, which is why the free tier can stay genuinely usable rather than a trial.

What it includes

• Private notes only you can see
• No cooldown between comments
• Unlimited highlights per page (free accounts get three)
• Edit your comments any time, not just for two minutes
• A Pro badge in comment lists
• Profile card templates, banner and accent colours
• Animated avatars
• Theme packs and custom highlight colours
• Export and search your own notes

What it does not include

Worth stating plainly, because paid tiers in comment products often blur this.

• Pro does not give your comments more visibility or better placement.
• Pro does not exempt you from moderation, reports or the rules.
• Pro does not change how reports against you are weighed. A paid account gets the same treatment as any other.

Subscribing

Upgrade from inside the extension: Settings → Subscription. Billing runs through Stripe; card details never reach our servers. Cancel any time, and Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
